I’ve been working in the travel industry for over 20 years and still genuinely love helping people plan their holidays.
Over the years, I’ve worked with clients travelling everywhere from Europe and Alaska to Japan, Africa and Antarctica, planning everything from luxury escapes and cruises to complex multi-stop itineraries and family holidays.
I started Kylie Stokes Travel & Cruise so I could work more personally with clients and focus on the kind of service I believe travel planning should include, thoughtful advice, attention to detail and genuine support throughout the process.
Today, I work with clients across Australia, many of whom come back year after year or are referred by family and friends. I take the time to understand how my clients like to travel so I can create trips that feel seamless, well planned and genuinely exciting to look forward to.

I work with a limited number of clients so I can give each trip the time and attention it deserves.
Whether you’re planning a cruise, a complex international itinerary or a special family holiday, I’ll guide you through the process from start to finish and help you make confident decisions without feeling overwhelmed.
Most of my business comes from repeat clients and referrals, which I think says a lot about the relationships I build and the way I work.
I’m based in Cairns but work with clients all over Australia.

A little more about me
Beyond the office
I was born and raised in Cairns and have spent most of my working life in travel and tourism here in the Far North. Before becoming a travel adviser in 2004, I spent years in sales and marketing across the region's tourism industry, from helicopter flights to coach touring.
Ask me to pick a favourite destination and I'll struggle, because everywhere is so different and unique in its own way. One place that truly left me in awe is Africa. I've been lucky enough to visit twice, to Kenya and South Africa, and seeing the animals in their natural habitat is an experience words can't do justice. New York and Japan stole my heart too.
Cruising is one of my favourite ways to travel. I love the ease of unpacking once and waking up somewhere new each day. While I enjoy all types of cruising, I have a particular soft spot for small ship and river cruising, where the focus is more on the experience and you can step straight off into the heart of a destination.
Over the years I've travelled to more than 25 countries across Europe, Asia, Africa, North America and the South Pacific. Still on my own wish list: Morocco, a return to Croatia to explore more of its coastline by small ship and a northern adventure through Finland and Norway. After more than 20 years in this industry, the list never gets shorter. It just keeps growing.
